Prayaas is a social initiative driven by passionate students and faculties at IISER Bhopal. As a non-profit and independent organization, we are dedicated to creating positive change in society across various domains. Our journey began in 2012 with a simple yet powerful objective: to provide primary education to the children of day laborers on our campus who were denied access to a regular school environment. Since then, Prayaas has continually expanded its scope, delving into diverse areas through a multitude of impactful activities.
 

At Prayaas, we firmly believe that education is a catalyst for transformative societal progress. By equipping these young minds with the fundamental tools of knowledge, we empower them to break the cycle of limited opportunities and chart their own paths towards a brighter future. 
 

Our multifaceted endeavors encompass women empowerment, cleanliness awareness, cloth donation drives, and science workshops. We strive to foster an environment where women can flourish, thrive, and stand tall as equals in society. Through engaging workshops, we empower them with knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to overcome barriers and achieve their aspirations. Moreover, our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene resonates deeply within us. We actively work towards creating awareness, educating communities, and organizing cleanup drives to foster a clean, green, and sustainable environment for all.
 

Recognizing the significance of compassion and empathy, we conduct cloth donation drives, aiming to provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those in need. By extending a helping hand, we seek to uplift marginalized communities and ensure no one is left behind.
